Extended Residual Claims for Maxigienes - 'AERIS ACTIVE' COVID-19 Disinfecting Product in Australia
Updated: Nov 13, 2020
A World First!
Aeris Active granted additional Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) product claims in Australia, further demonstrating technical leadership and product differentiation.
ARTG 'on-label' claims now include 'Residual COVID-19 kill for up to seven days' and 'Residual antibacterial for up to 30 days (or 200 touches) against gram-negative E.Coli and gram-positive S.aureus'.
Validation studies were conducted at accredited NATA laboratory, Eurofins AMS, that are well known accepted in Australian, Asian and American authorities.

Maxigiene's product development & manufacturing partner Aeris Environmental Ltd is pleased to announce that it has now been granted extended residual protection claims in Australia. These claims are the result of extensive independent scientific testing, validating that Aeris Active provides demonstrated efficacy and proven ability to kill COVID-19 on surfaces, together with an approved residual antibacterial efficacy for up to 30 days (or 200 touches) against the test organisms of gram-negative E.coli and gram-positive S.aureus'.
Aeris Environmental believes it has now established the new 'gold standard' in environmental hygiene, with products that are effective in a single-step application, that have been tested in Option B 'dirty conditions' and meet the hospital grade disinfectant standards.
Importantly, Aeris Active offers validated residual protection on surfaces and is not only effective in killing COVID-19 the fastest (in one minute) but also offers residual protection of the surface, 'actively' killing COVID-19 and offering residual antibacterial protection for up to 30 days (or 200 touches) against gram-negative E.coli and gram positive S.aureus.
